Buy a Genuine Moto2 Race Bike
Kode Engine offers genuine Moto2 race bikes for sale — complete machines that competed in the World Championship and European Moto2 Championship. These are not replicas, not track-day conversions, not lookalikes. Every bike we sell is an authentic Moto2 machine with documented competition history, sold in full race specification.
Our current inventory includes a Kalex Triumph Moto2 (Yamaha Racing Edition, €45,000) and a Kalex Honda Moto2 (€30,000) — two distinct championship-spec platforms available for immediate purchase. Both are located in Barcelona, Spain, and available for personal inspection by appointment.
What Does a Moto2 Bike Cost?
A new Moto2 race bike costs upwards of €80,000–€100,000 when sourced directly from manufacturers. Our used championship machines start from €30,000 — saving buyers 50–70% without compromising on specification. The Kalex Triumph Moto2 Yamaha Racing Edition is priced at €45,000 and represents a complete, race-ready package with full Öhlins suspension and Brembo braking.
Prices reflect genuine used market value for championship-proven machines. All bikes include their as-raced specification. Contact us for detailed condition reports and additional photographs before purchase.
Kalex Chassis: The Standard of Moto2
Kalex has dominated Moto2 chassis manufacturing for over a decade, winning the World Championship constructors' title repeatedly. Their aluminum twin-spar design — available in M08, M10, and current generation specifications — sets the benchmark for intermediate-class frame geometry and flex characteristics. Both bikes in our current inventory use Kalex chassis, making them true examples of the championship-standard platform.
The Kalex M10 chassis on the Triumph edition offers precise handling and predictable flex characteristics developed through thousands of race kilometers across multiple championship seasons. The older M08 generation found on the Honda edition provides an equally competitive base with proven reliability.
Triumph and Honda Spec Engines
Since 2019, the Triumph HM2 765cc triple engine has been the spec powerplant for the Moto2 World Championship — the same engine used by every team from Marc VDS to Red Bull KTM Ajo. Producing approximately 140 HP with a unique firing order that delivers exceptional corner-exit traction, this engine is identical across all Moto2 entries, making the Triumph-powered Kalex the purest expression of what a Moto2 bike is.
The Honda-engined Kalex in our inventory represents the pre-2019 era configuration, when Honda supplied the NSF250M and Dholda engines to Moto2 teams. This makes the Honda Kalex a historically significant machine — representing the transitional period of Moto2 development before the current Triumph spec era.
Full Competition Specification
Every Moto2 bike sold by Kode Engine comes in full competition specification. The Kalex Triumph Moto2 features Öhlins FG590 front forks and Öhlins RVP50 rear shock — the same suspension used by World Championship front-runners. Braking is handled by Brembo, the gold standard in Moto2 and MotoGP braking. Electronics run a Mectronik ECU with 2D telemetry data acquisition.
Unlike stripped-down or converted machines, our bikes are sold as raced. No compromises, no substitutions. What you see in the photographs is what you receive.
